About Us

Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, is renamed Veer Bahadur Singh. Purvanchal University, established in the honour of the late Shri Veer Bahadur Singh, former Chief Minister of the state, was established on October 2, 1987, as an affiliating university under the U.P. State University Act, 1973. Innovation from young minds has always been the centre of attention at the university. The incubation centre seeks to foster a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship among students, teachers, and others in order to address economic and societal needs by providing a platform to bridge the gap between scientific research and knowledge creation at universities and allied institutions on the one hand, and commercialization on the other, in order to create an entrepreneurial environment in the region.
